New Book ~ 3 Times The Charm!

We have a new book!
It’s called 3 Times the Charm!

I don’t know if any of you remember, but a few years back Mary and I had a product called the “Charm Tablet”.

It was designed to help the quilt shop owners sell charm packs. It was only available to shop owners and was very successful.

We started by naming the first pattern Amanda and continued naming the patterns in alphabetical order until the last pattern in the series was named Greta.

So guess what … 7 patterns just begging to be put into a book!

We have done several books with Leisure Arts and decided that this book would be a good fit for them!

The book starts with the Amanda pattern which is a great table topper size project … and perfect for small holiday fabric collections.

Amanda is shown here using our new “Ready Set Snow” fabrics for Moda … available in the stores this May.

The quilts vary in size and many of them are large enough to be used as baby blankets.

Each of the 7 quilts are shown made from 3 different fabric groupings … for a total of 21 quilts.

We used to own a quilt shop and know how fast the fabrics come and go, so we wanted to give the projects in this newest book a timeless feel.

Something that quilters could look at and see the quilts done in a variety of different fabrics and styles.

Remember this pile of quilts and the 21 bindings that we did last summer?

Well they are all now in the new book!

To order and for more information visit Leisure Arts or your favorite local quilt shop.

It’s a great value at only $9.95! When is the last time that you got 7 quilt patterns for less than $10!

Hope that you enjoy this new book for many years to come!

Thanks!

Barb and Mary

Can’t wait to read it! Went to Leisure Arts to order it but they wanted to charge me as much for shipping as the cost of the book. I’ll just wait until it’s available on Amazon.

  6. Wow, these are nice little quilts! I’ve been trying to actually ‘use’ some of the many charm packs I’ve collected. For me, they’re kind of like trinkets, I just like taking them all out and looking at them…maybe that’s why they’re called charms 🙂

Wow. That looks like a book I MUST have. I’ve been buying charm packs since doing that online quilt class done by Missouri Quilt Company but, I don’t know what to do with them OR, maybe I should say, I can’t decided what to do with them. I know there are plenty of choices of things to make. I never fails though that when I find something I want to make it needs charm packs AND a layer cake or yardage. I’ll be looking for this book for sure. Thanks for the heads up.

Got the book already from Kimberly at Fat Quarter shop and realized I just completed an Emma baby quilt (still have to sew down the binding). I had gotten the pattern with a charm pack I ordered. I would send a picture so you can see it, but don’t know where to send it. Love the book – can’t wait to dig into my charm packs and get started.
