We had such a great time on our recent Stitchin Heaven cruise to the Caribbean!
And met some great new quilting friends!
The ship was beautiful and bigger than I could have imagined. We were on the Allure, it’s one of the biggest in the fleet. There were even trees growing in the open areas of the ship …
Can you imagine trees growing on a ship? There were beautiful things to look at everywhere!
I have a thing for glass sculpture and I actually have about 30 photos of these birds. I must have taken a picture every time I walked past them.
We stopped in 3 different ports between our sewing days. One of which was a private beach in Haiti. This was my view for several relaxing hours …
It was fun until Karla almost got eaten by Jaws!
Good thing I was around to save her life! I pushed her quickly out of the way and threw that guy in the background into the fish instead! Maybe we should have stayed at the pool with some fellow quilters that day!
Gina, one of our fellow cruisers adopted a puppy from the Humane Society in Cozumel. It was love at first sight!
And Bella got a souvenir with my small donation to the cause!
This is her “my Mom went on a quilting cruise” look … and all I got was this dumb poncho! Why can’t I have what’s in the pantry instead?
We got surprised by some towel folded animals in our cabin every few days. But I think our cabin person needs to go back to towel folding school . We have no idea what our animals were …
I’m not sure which is the front and back. Maybe a dino-dog ?
How about this one?
I call this one “brain with lips”.
We had so much fun!
And even MORE fun!
Darn … I wish Mary hadn’t taken this photo of me running into the restroom!
Come sail away!
Thanks for all the fun and great memories ladies!
