I have never seen one of these before …
About 22 miles east of Deming, New Mexico. On Interstate 10 East … heading towards Las Cruces.
Awesome sight to see in the early morning!
My husband and I were driving back from Keystone, CO last winter after vacation and taking my son back to college. I saw lots of billboards along Rt. 70 in Missouri and Kansas for quilt and yarn shops. I actually even got to stop at one in Oakley, KS…Smokey River Quilt Shoppe! I was really surprised to see them too. It was fun though. I would have liked to stop at each one but my husband had the truck headed East to Virginia and he wasn’t going to stop at every exit…even for a quilt shop. What’s up with that
If you drive I-35 from Iowa to Texas you’ll see a bajillion quilt shop billboards: mostly in Kansas and Oklahoma.
We’ve never stopped, but they make me smile.
You gals look like a lot of fun. I think 16 mentions of the word size,I noted. Love your fabric. mw
How about 17.
There’s one on I-81 going north through Virginia for Patchwork Plus … I think it even mentions how many bolts of fabric they carry!
That is a great fabric shop. I think it is the best one that Las Cruces has. They are great people. Have a lot of fun projects. I like them so much I am thinking about ditching my Pfaff and getting a Bernina. I will have to show them this post. They will love it!
What an honor it is to be posted on your blog!!You have so made my day!!
I love your fabric!! The wonderful colors make me smile. My granddaughter has some darling garments made from your collections. If you’re ever out this way again, please stop in and say hello.
I have personally shopped at that Quilt Shop in Las Cruces. It is wonderful and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I’m in Las Cruces several times a year and I always shop there.
