I have lots of things to do piled up around here like ironing and paperwork.
And the trash needs emptied …
And my purse is a bottomless pit …
And every flat surface NEAR my sewing room is covered with paper and debris …
And my cutting mat has become the place for all random things …
And when did that plant die??
I guess my sewing room is just a general mess and I should be cleaning, but I would rather have some fun sewing!

Hmmm I should be cleaning, laundry, doing taxes, shovelling the snow off my driveway, and the list goes on and on…
But I’m off to sew a pair of shorts for my son as I have a deadline as a pattern tester. Thanks for a chance to win this awesome fabric!

Mopping, gardning, dusting, vacuming, etc. But I love having a good sewing project!
I should be out helping my husband stack wood from the 150 foot tree we had cut down, but he knows my days off are few and so he said to sew. He knows I’m always in a better mood when I have the chance to sew. Thanks hubby!
What I should be doing is washing the dogs. The sewing gets done in my cool sewing room while the dogs get dirter!
I would be finishing the quilts that are just staring at me. I keep them out there as incentives to get all the “boring” cleaning done.
I should be sewing instead of reading quilting blogs.

I should be removing the inch thick dust from all surfaces and thinking about new flooring in my kitchen since it is from 1974 but I would rather be sewing.
I should just be sitting in my sewing thinking where Ill put everything when my daughter and her family take my sewing room over. That would be the only reason to give up that room

You know I should be cleaning and downsizing the accumulation of stuff after living in this house for 38 years, but I would rather be sewing.
There is a lot of things….cleaning-always, homework with my kids, planning what I will be teaching…I’ll have to multitask I guess…

Wow! I am glad I am not the only one that needs to: clean sewing room, laudry, ironing,shampoo dogs and more. Sewing is more fun!
What a gorgeous choice of fabrics to add to my love, quilting. I am fairly new to this great release for creativity, but a black and white is to be my next project, after I finish about six others. Creativity is a disease of toooo much action in my brain and too little time to be in that room acting on the creative juices! and yes my room is cluttered from my creative outlets>

Well, I really should be working on my daughter’s birthday quilt, but I just got some new fabric in, and since I just found out I’m going to be a Nana again after 8 years, I was so totally excited, that I couldn’t help but start the baby quilt with my new fabric…
and of course the bathroom could use a good scrubbing…and I need to do laundry…oh well, lol
I wanna go rummaging in your fabric scrap bin….lots of ‘offcuts’ there that I could play with!

I really should be helping my husband pack up this house since we only have 10 days before the truck comes to move us to 1/2 the square footage we now have…he loves to pack!
I have such a loving and generous best friend, I really dont need to win the awesome fabric stacks and bundles! Ill leave it to someone else. Its snowing so Im hoping I can quilt instead of cleaning the bathrooms that have been calling me! Wish you were here to have tea and watch it snow.
