While I was recently looking thru a bedroom closet I found this …

An old doll of mine. Still in the original box.
She is a little lumpy and settled but aren’t we all getting that way these days?
I got on the internet and found that she was made in 1963. She might actually be worth something if she talks.
Here goes nothing …
She still talks!
Apparently she is afraid of noisy boys!
Back to the shelf for another few years!
I wonder if my sister still has her Chatty Cathy?

Very cool! That is so neat that you kept her and in her box. I wish I would have kept a few more things from my childhood. I bet she is worth something also but maybe not what she meant to you as a child
She would probably love a new outfit made from Good Morning or Twirl fabrics.
She’s cute!! Glad she still talks! Have a great weekend!
Barb, If you ever want to get her cleaned I have the prefect place to handle for you. I have my original Mrs Beasley Doll, with her original glasses and she still talks. Not as old of Chatty but I did get her given to me in 1975.
How fun! This doll sure looks well-loved. I bet she brought back many happy memories!
Aww she is adorable and loved!! My Chatty Cathy is long gone
I grew up as the only girl with 3 brothers and 3 boy cousins and somewhere along the way she was used as target practice. My poor mother always wanted a girly girl so she could buy all the pretty dolls for me. Unfortunately if I played dolls the boys wouldn’t let me play!
I had one of these!!! but my poodle chewed her face a bit…. I did the repairs.. I think I still might have her up with a few stuffed animals I have kept!
Santa brought our daughter one of those,we talk about her sometimes! Very Memorable doll, thanks for the memories!! Tickled to see her again!
