Get To The Beach!

Where would you like to be this November?

Join us for a quilting version of Spring Break on the world famous Cocoa Beach in Florida!

Mary and I will be hosting a retreat with our friends at Sew Central

The retreat starts on Friday November 9th and runs thru Sunday the 11th.

We will be teaching a project from our new “Suburban” pattern and our new “Good Morning” fabrics …

And as always we have a few bonus projects along with some fun and games planned!

You can get all the details about the retreat by visiting Sew Central. Space is limited so sign up today!

You could be doing this …

Or this!

The hotel walkway is just 38 steps away from the beach. Can’t wait to wiggle my toes in the sand!

Swimsuits are optional …

Oh, my! My husband has been begging to go to Cocoa Beach in November (we usually go in February) for surfing. I was trying to talk him out of it, but now, I might have changed my mind about going (WINK, WINK)!

Oh my gosh I wish I could go, that would be a dream vacation!!

You guys need to go to career day at school. I can just see the kids coming home, “Mommy, I want to be a quilter and design fabric when I grow up.” why is that? “They get to go on a safari, play at the beach and go on cruises.” Love the name of the retreat!

  4. Swimsuits are optional? My sister lives in Cocoa and she never mentioned that swimsuits were optional on the beaches down there! ;) Sounds like a good time and what a fun project too! I think I’ll be doing the footprint in the snow thing though :(

Well thankfully we don’t have snow that early but I’d much rather be walking on the sand any day anyway. I wish I could be there but maybe next time.

I am going to be in Lakeland Fl that weekend…except we are flying home on Saturday :( already have plane tickets…that can’t be changed since the kids will be with me. Someday though…
