Welcome to another great Moda blog hop! This one is all about friendship.

And what do friends do? They quilt together!
I’ll bet you didn’t know that some pretty popular and famous best friends are quilters.
Remember Lucy and Ethel?
Those two were always talking about new quilt patterns! They couldn’t wait to start sewing everyday when Ricky and Fred left for work. This picture was taken at a quilt retreat somewhere in New York.
And how about Rachael and Monica?
I’ll never forget the day they were so upset about the mean judge at the quilt show who didn’t give them the blue ribbon!
And who could forget those great episodes of Zena the warrior princess and her best quilting friend Gabriella?
Those two would sew together into the wee hours of the morning. Actually it was Zena who had the original idea for the rotary cutter. The inspiration came from that suit of armor she always wore.
Even tough chicks quilt!
Remember the episode of Cagney and Lacey when they gave Mary a ride in the cop car to find some new fat quarter bundles? I was so jealous. They ran the flashing lights and siren the whole way.
So grab your best quilting buddies and get sewing!
This is our friendship block …
Here is the link to download your pattern.
Also visit Primitive Gatherings and Malka Dubrawsky today for more great block patterns.
Tomorrow visit Minick and Simpson, Pat Sloan and Sandy Gervais. I hope your collecting all the patterns along the way. If you would like to see the complete schedule go here. There is also a flicker group where you can add photos of your blocks.
Leave a comment below telling us about your best quilting friends and you could win one of these new Ticklish fabric bundles …
The winners will be chosen sometime on Tuesday March 5th.
Good luck to all and remember what Wilma and Betty, those best quilting friends of all time said …
Yabba Dabba Do! Lets quilt!

My best frind in Quilting is my cousin. Where just like 2 children when weher together (we live like 1000 miles away) and it’s just so sad that we cant have many days together that we just have to be doing our thing while on phone! Our husbands think were crazy but guess what: we already now! hihihi
Its just to fun do not do it!
My best friend lives in the same small town as I do and we love to have quilt days together. Shopping in our local quilt store and searching out others is one of our favorite things to do. I never have to worry that I am spending too much time (or money!) when I am with her!
