Farm Girl Friday!

Welcome to “Farm Girl Friday” and our “Country Crossroads Block”!

I’m not really a “farm girl” so I’ve decided to use our new “Dot Dot Dash” fabrics to give this down home block a BRIGHT twist!

I’ve chosen my fabrics and labeled them with my Alphabitties

I’ve got them all cut out and ready to sew.

I did some special fussy cutting for my block center. I want this intersection to have a bright purple stop sign!

I started arranging my pieces to make the “snowballs” …

RAN over to the sewing machine to sew all my pieces together and in a flash I had a block …

What a perfect pairing!

I love Lori’s new book and I loved making my “out of the box” block with “Dot Dot Dash”!

Please visit Marni at Haberdashery Fun today to see her “Corn and Tomatoes Block”.

You can get this great Farm Girl Vintage book, pre order some “Dot Dot Dash” fabric and get some Alphabitties to keep your blocks and fabrics organized at the Fat Quarter Shop.
