Welcome to Apron-palooza!!
I love these special events with the Fat Quarter Shop!
Today they have an free apron pattern for you! It’s really easy to make. In fact I started taking pictures during construction and decided that the video was so much better and easier to follow that I stopped.
Just watch the video!
For my apron I used one of the prints from our new LOL fabric collection for Moda. This collection is being shown to the shop owners now. So be sure to tell your favorite local quilt shop to buy some! We’ll also be showing it at Quilt Market in Pittsburgh this May.
If you would like a printed version of the pattern go here.
I just couldn’t resist putting my apron on Si in honor of Kimberly’s Duck Dynasty apron!
I also made a smaller version of the apron for my dog Bella!
Just in case you want to do the same for your fur baby … I cut a rectangle from a second towel and finished both side edges so that it measured 5 1/2 X 9 inches. I cut the print 4 X 11 inches and placed it 3 inches from the bottom of the towel. Otherwise I pretty much followed the basic apron instructions.
She’s ready to spend a day in the kitchen with her big brother!
Yes, they both had to be bribed for this picture! Bella got to eat a cookie from her apron pocket and I made the big brother a sandwich.
