A Crochet Project Gets Finished!

With all that’s been going on around here, I’ve still managed to check a project off my UFO list.

It started with this lovely pile of yarn …

Granny Square started …

Getting larger …

And finished!

This is my very first Granny Square ever!

It used up more yarn than I thought it would and I was hoping for a slightly larger square, but I still love it. It’s big enough to throw over the back of a dining room chair to add some color and texture.

On to the next project! Learning to knit is still on the list.

Isn’t it fun! I taught myself to crochet about a year ago. I’ve had a blast. I’ve made hats for everyone except the dog. I made boots for the dog. HA! I also want to learn to knit. Probably next fall.Beautiful yarn choice by the way.

    Beautiful! Love those colors.

Good luck learning to knit. I learned to crochet first and had a hard time learning knitting. I can do the basics in rows and that is about it. :)
